Google has been putting a great deal of emphasis on social gaming lately.

The company recently acquired Slide and Jambool, and has reportedly invested in Zynga makers of Farmville and Mafia Wars. Googles interest in social games will not only impact its Chrome Web Store for web apps, but Android which will fuel mobile advertising and Google TV, and possibly the rumored Google Me social media project that Google is supposed to be working on. It remains to be seen just how much of an impact these gamerelated acquisitions will have.
