When a user wants to change or add a bookmark, the changes will be stored in the cloud and synced on all of the machines being used where the bookmark sync feature is activated.

Mozilla has a similar feature in its Weave product, which allows users of the Firefox browser to sync their preferences on multiple machines. Last month, they announced a new version of it.This week, Mozilla has shared more details about what theyre working on to improve Weave. These include improvements in performance, usability, bugs, and things beyond just syncing. More details about that here.
