Late last week, Microsoft employees tweeted about exciting and super impressive features that would be introduced this month.
Today, one of those features debuted, and Visual Search, as its known, is living up to the hype. The beta version of Visual Search uses Silverlight technology to present searchers with image results instead of text. 50 results galleries span subjects including dog breeds, new cars, and movies in theaters, and its possible to sort everything according to relevant categories like lifespan, base price, and genre, respectively.Visual Search, like Bings regular image search engine, does away with multiple pages of results and instead makes everything accessible by way of one long scrollbar.
